HOW TO INSTALL:
Get Yandere. I don’t care how, but it’d be nice if you could purchase it. Just go to (http://www.dlsite.com/ecchi-eng/work/=/product_id/RE035189) if you’d like to purchase it. It’s 20 bucks. Seriously, come on, that isn’t a lot.

Once you’ve gotten the game, install it. IMPORTANT: Make sure your computer is in Japanese locale before you do so. It would also help if your computer was in Japanese locale when you play the game. I’m not sure if Applocale works, but I’d make sure you were in Japanese locale to keep on the safe side.

Once you’ve installed it, make sure you have a fire-proof blanket and fire extinguisher on hand for when you spontaneously combust. Don’t worry, it happens to all of us.

Finally, replace “data.xp3″ in the installation folder with the “data.xp3″ in this .zip. That should be all you need.

If you’ve already installed the game, you’ll unfortunately need to start over. Delete your saves folder and you should be fine. If it’s not, run the game in administrator mode.

If you find any comments or run into any errors, leave a comment to this post with a screenshot and a description of what happened, and we’ll try our best to fix it.

It’s done, guys. We’re done. Yandere is now completely in English.

It’s… it’s been a long ride. Almost 2 years now. I can still remember when I hopped on board the project, eager and full of hope. I still remember translating my first sex scene, and how horribly awkward it was. I remember translating the endings, feeling the same horror and excitement that I do today.

With this, I can finally share the game I’ve been wanting to share since I played it.

There will be a postmortem post shortly following this one. Perhaps today, perhaps tomorrow.

Have fun, guys.

A while back I extracted the contents of the game folder and came across what I believe to be a built in “Black Jack” mini-game. Upon further examination of the game’s official website, I found this to be true (and by that, I mean I found a solitary screenshot of it).
My question is, how (if possible) do I unlock it?
I’ve already gotten all the CG, so I imagine there must be something else I’m missing.

Everytime I try to open it, this pops up: http://i.imgur.com/REYGed6.png

      Please help!

      • It’s saying the the “game20″ file in your directory is corrupt in some way, it can’t recognize it. First, try running as administrator. If that doesn’t work, try reinstalling in another place on your computer. Finally, if that doesn’t work, you may need to redownload the game from wherever you got it from.

  3. VOICE says:

I am deaf or no voice coming out from the characters?

  4. anonymous says:

For some reason, I’m unable to install the game. I mounted the .cue file, and tried following the installation instructions. I can’t read japanese, so the furthest I got to was this:

Last thing to mention is that I did set it Japanese locale.

  5. The Dream says:

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I see “Subaru-chan italic =true”, like the source code isn’t concealed. Just wanting to point that out.

i try to replace data.xp3 with the english patch it says it does not have any room what do i do?

  11. Antares says:

I’m not sure if this applies to “errors,” but in the game, I keep encountering a really annoying issue regarding the character sprites. For some reason, the girls’ sprites will randomly decide to “stick around” even though the corresponding character is not present in the current scene. This issue persists until that character reappears in their next scene, then the sprite becomes animate again as the dialogue progresses (and even after the previously-static sprite pops back to life, there’s still a chance that the sprite will decide to hang around again when that person’s scene ends).

For example, in this part, Saki should have been the only one in the room, as Saito left at an earlier moment: http://i.imgur.com/2uYKhpB.png

And as an even better example, here’s the scene that takes place shortly after the previous part: http://i.imgur.com/K5Cvhea.png

I’ve even had instances where both Saito and Yuumi’s completely-static sprites were just kind of taking up space on the screen together long after their scenes ended.

Is there any sort of fix for this?

((I mean, I know that they’re clingy yandere girls, but I’m at least 80% certain that this shouldn’t be happening right now.))

    • spammyz0rd says:

I should change my name to “Grave Digger”, as I’m commenting on stuff that should be dead and buried.
The thing that worked for me in the case of ‘sticky’ sprites was going to the save folder (inside the folder where you installed the game) and delete savesu.ksd
